William (Bill) Christian joined Fieldpoint Private in Greenwich, Connecticut as a Managing Director in 2017. He and his fellow team members work collectively to provide a suite of wealth and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients, corporate executives, business owners and retirees.
Mr. Christian’s collaborative process with clients begins with a conversation. It includes identifying goals, assessing risk guidelines, and creating an integrated asset allocation to help reach objectives. He selects equity funds, third-party managers and individual fixed-income issues to customize portfolios according to a client’s goals and requirements. He also coordinates delivery of comprehensive wealth management, banking and lending services in concert with clients’ outside accountants and attorneys.
Mr. Christian’s more than 20 years of investment management experience began at Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) in 1997. In 1998, he and Tammi Lauder created the LC Group, which in 2002 would merge into the Landmark Group. In 2010 the team transitioned to J.P. Morgan Securities.
Mr. Christian graduated from Ramapo College with a bachelor’s in business administration. He and his wife, Tara, live in Cos Cob, Connecticut. He enjoys playing golf as a member of Westchester Country Club and pursues many of his interests while traveling.
