Mr. Cox joined Fieldpoint bringing 26 years of risk management experience to our team. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in designing and implementing integrated risk management and governance frameworks at global financial service firms and community banks in the United States, United Kingdom and Bermuda.

Prior to Fieldpoint, Mr. Cox served as a principal and lead consultant at Libra Risk Management where he led enterprise risk, compliance, vendor management and BSA/AML solutions for financial service organizations. Before that he was head of Operation Risk, Compliance, Fraud and AML at Blue Hills Bank in Massachusetts. He also served as chief risk officer at Capital G Bank Ltd in Bermuda and before that he was head of operational risk for the Finance division of Deutsche Bank in London, UK. His earlier career started at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was a senior risk manager progressing to chief risk officer of WorldPay, now the largest payments card processor in the world.

Mr. Cox completed a B.A. in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University located in Scotland, UK. He also earned an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and Associate of Institute Risk Management (AIRM), both located in London, UK.
