Mr. Ruden is an experienced financial professional providing private banking services to entrepreneurs and their companies, private equity firms, families and their other trusted advisors, all with a superior relationship experience. His 30-plus years in commercial and personal banking include financial analysis, loan structuring and underwriting, asset/risk management, asset disposition, and depository management.

He joined Fieldpoint Private following more than a dozen years with Bankwell and its predecessor firms, The Bank of New Canaan and The Bank of Fairfield. At Bankwell he was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the bank’s commercial lending and deposits, and improvements in its operations, portfolio management, and underwriting. Prior to that, Mr. Ruden served as a senior underwriter, hedge fund real estate professional, and franchise specialty lender. He was formally credit trained at Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC).

He is a member of the board of the Connecticut chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and a graduate of Union College and lives with his wife Kelle in Westport, Connecticut.
